I just came back from an amazingly moving trip to Israel summer 2001 
and The New Yorker invited me to a party at the Guggenhiem.  I wore 
this bustier to the Gug although I didn't stay long.   I'm not very 
social.   After Sept. 11 the most meaningful invitation was a dinner 
at a firehouse.
